The Space We Hold is a five-part documentary series featuring the music and comprehensive life experiences of Saad Haddad, Jeffrey Mumford, inti-figgis vizueta, Pamela Z, Billy Childs, and others. This series integrates recorded performances into an interview structure to provide insight into the personal lives and compositional styles of each composer, humanizing the music and facilitating a personal relationship between audience and the composer. Areas of conversation range from early education and musical upbringing, to detailed descriptions of unique compositional voice, to the polylithic experiences of being a composer that is part of a traditionally underrepresented or mistreated community or communities.
